Loch Memorial Reserve

Attraction description: The Loch Memorial Reserve was established in 1922 through the efforts of the local community as a destination for local sport and passive recreation. To this very day the Loch Memorial Reserve is owned by the people of Loch and surrounding district. It’s a regular destination for those locals and visitors that enjoy what it has to offer in terms of the beautiful walk around the perimeter of the Reserve whilst taking in the magnificent oak trees. Each tree has a commemorative plaque placed underneath honouring those locals who made the ultimate sacrifice in the various conflicts. The Reserve provides the following for all to enjoy:

  • A gazebo equipped with under cover seating and a BBQ 

  • Children’s playground 

  • Public toilet 

  • Easy walking access via the suspension bridge from Loch and the Rail Trail.
